Welcome to Department of International Relations

The Department of International Relations was established in the year 2003. The department offers four academic programmes; BS, M.Sc, M. Phil. & PhD. The M Sc. IR programme was launched in 2003 while Mphil leading to PhD was launched in 2010 respectively. The BS IR programme was launched in 2015 in order to prepare graduates to have a deeper understanding and knowledge of the subject. The department of International Relations has 25 faculty members with Professors, Associate Professors, Assistant Professors, and Lecturers on board.

Message From Head of Department (HoD)

International Relations and PCS is an inter-departmental multi-disciplinary program that aims at addressing key global challanges/issues and approaches to politics. The program aims at offering you a sophisticated understanding of IR and PCS, both as a subject of academic studies and to pursue career goals. You will be able to develop the ability to handle a variety of methods to analyse complex national and global issues in a scientific manner.
